F1 has been around since the 1950s and over the years, has only got better and better. Today, it is seen as one of the most exciting sports in the world and the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has recently talked it up by referencing his retirement.

Lewis Hamilton has been competing in F1 since 2007. He is one of the biggest names on the grid and he genuinely feels there are not many things outside of the sport that could produce the thrill a driver experiences while driving in F1.

Hamilton has made it quite clear that he out-and-out loves the pinnacle of motor racing. At 39, he is currently in the twilight period of his career and thus feels, it would be difficult for him to get the kind of thrill he gets from F1 away from it.

While Lewis Hamilton has compared F1 to fighter jets, he also really wishes for the general population to feel the thrill of driving an F1 car. Moreover, deep down he is well aware of the fact that this is just not possible considering only 20 drivers get to do it every year.
There are several ways in which the general population can drive at the racing circuits, but it is just not possible to do it in an F1 car.
For me personally, when I get strapped in the first time and they start up the car, I get the same bubbly feeling inside.
